The client for this project is a globally renowned dairy and beverage manufacturer, consistently ranked among the top 100 of the Fortune 500. The client's requirement was for equipment capable of identifying different sizes of stick types and performing accurate counting, thereby reducing the pressure of manual picking and packaging, and further increasing production capacity.
The stick types sent by the client can be broadly categorized into three types: regular coffee sticks, combined coffee sticks, and extra-wide sticks (previously only manually picked). Hengli Packaging's equipment R&D department first drew equipment sketches based on the specific shapes of the sticks, customizing widened tracks to ensure flexible transportation of the sticks. The workshop project team actively assembled and debugged, trying several design solutions to address the issue of stick stacking during the counting process. Leveraging Hengli Packaging's extensive experience in stick counting and boxing, automated counting was smoothly achieved, with photoelectric eyes accurately identifying the size and shape of the sticks, including the extra-wide ones.
The entire acceptance process went smoothly, with the real-time operating equipment accurately identifying and conveniently operating during the stick counting process, showcasing a high degree of automation. The accompanying pagination machine quickly separates packaging bags, effectively saving labor costs, improving efficiency, increasing output, and helping clients enhance their competitiveness in the market.
